- Integrity. Ethics are important. As them how they have handled past moral dilemmas.
- Business sense. Business objectives and ROI are the ideal framework for the best creatives. As them how their creative ideas have been used to achieve various business goals. Just because it looks good in a portfolio doesn’t mean that it helped the company.
- Passion. Don’t confuse this with drama. Hire professionals who love what they do but are not so headstrong that they cannot communicate without sparks flying.
- Optimism. A positive attitude increases the likelihood employees will take on challenges and motivate others – not to mention make the office more pleasant.
