When starting a business you need to confirm that you have the resources and commitment to complete the startup process and get it to sustainability. Often people who have the ability to do development build their product or service but forget that this is only 1/3 of the battle. You also need sales and solid operations (i.e. legal, managerial, financial, etc). Failure in any one of these areas will mean either: (1) delay in the timeline; (2) increased costs; (3) failure of the business. Worst case scenario all three occur. If in your planning process you realize that you don’t have what it takes either stop the process or find a solution before moving forward. You don’t want to rebuild your car when you’re moving at 75 MPH!
